Designing a red carpet or couture dress is a deeply layered process for me—both emotional and technical. It always begins with a story. I ask myself: what emotion or presence do I want the wearer to embody? Is it power, grace, rebellion, or vulnerability? Once that narrative is clear, I start sketching silhouettes that express that mood while paying attention to current trends—whether it's a daring neckline, exaggerated shoulders, or a particular fabric that’s in the spotlight.
Then comes research—I look into global runway inspirations, vintage couture archives, and even art or architecture. But the heart of the design always comes from within. I experiment with drapes, textures, and structure in my studio until the dress starts to ‘speak’ back to me. Fittings and fabric trials are where the vision becomes tangible. And when it all comes together—the final piece must not just follow trends; it must make a statement, move with elegance, and spark emotion on the red carpet. READ MORE
